Fly Away Home #3 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheLawrenceClan: The Lawrence Clan is moving out of Richmond, so we are decommissioning this series. A huge thank you to the landowner who graciously allowed us to place the caches here; it was wonderful getting to read the logs of caches walking this lovely path.

Geocache Description:

A small cache with a fun container, found along a walking path by the Jock River.

This is the third cache of the 'Fly Away Home' series. And its placement happens to cooincide with us reaching 100 finds! Hurray!

The cache is located about 10 minutes down a path near the river . There are lots of different critters to see around here! The river is home to ducks, otters, and frogs, and there are deer and beehives nearby. Let us know if you spot anything interesting! The path itself is mowed-grass and is on private property. Dogs are allowed if they are kept on leash. Please be extremely respectful of the area, as the land-owner has graciously allowed us to place a cache here so that people can enjoy the scenic route.

Note: A bear has been sighted in this area in the past . One was known to be nearby in May 2015, and suspected in Spring of 2016. There's a chance that a bear might be around again this year. We recommend cachers be aware while on the rail, and potentially avoid going alone or when it is raining.
