[SWE] Statyn av Selma Lagerlöf som är placerad invid fontänen i Lagerlöfsparken är skapad av skulptören Arvid Backlund, Stockholm. Statyn är skänkt till kommunen av Fryksdalens Gille i samband med Gillets 60-års jubileum 1972. Det vita huset hon kollar mot är det nya biblioteket.

[ENG] The statue of Selma Lagerlöf, which is located next to the fountain in the park, was created by the sculptor Arvid Backlund, Stockholm. The statue was donated to the municipality of Fryksdalens Guild in connection with the Guild’s 60^th anniversary.

The white building she looks at is the library.
