Gran's View Traditional Cache

This cache is located near the lifestyle apartments where my Gran lived before she passed away. When walking around in this complex, she would have been able to look upon this spot.

A nice, scenic area just off Te Irirangi Drive. A little further on from the cache is a lovely little bridge that crosses a stream, home to a few ducks and pukeko, and surrounded by bush and wildlife. Take a little walk after finding the cache... it's a pretty spot.

Cache is a 250ml screw-top container with natural camo. Not a lot of room inside, may hold a small TB or two. When placed, cache contained log book and pencil only. Coordinates obtained using cache owner's phone- several readings were taken to ensure that they are as accurate as possible.

Best parking spot is on Kellaway Drive, just down from the Motor Inn. This should get you pretty close to GZ. You shouldn't have to go too far into the bush (because Mrs NewlynFam isn't the biggest fan of bush-bashing!) ... cache is only a couple of metres or so in from the grass line. Please re-hide well- it should not be visable to the unsuspecting bush-basher!
