Geocache Description:

This series will take you to pieces of artwork, sculptures or down right goofy things that I thought would be fun for people to take their pictures with.  I thought this would be a great way to put faces to cacher names and thought that through these "selfies" it would be a great way to get to know others in this hobby.  While a photo is not required, it would make this old rum addled barnacle encrusted octopus fart a happy fellow if you included one.

For many years I have driven by this sculpture and found it to be fascinating.  You can say that it was made in the same spirit that Doc Evermor made his sculptures.  You will find that this sculptures wardrobe will change as the seasons and holidays change.  This is part of what has drawn me to it.  The owners are familiar with geocaching and were happy to allow me to place a cache on it and don't have any problems with people taking photos of it.  His name is Wrex and as I was told, this was the name that their young daughter gave it after it was made and it just stuck.  I will tell you exactly where the cache is so there will be no need to poke around in the plants or to be uncomfortable being in the front of the house. The cache is magnetic holder and placed behind the jack on the left leg (his not yours) wink

This will be an easy peasy park and grab, but I hope it brings a smile to your face like it does to me.  Please no night caching and seek it out during daytime. Enjoy Rumdum
