Geocache Description:

A quick drive by at a special place for this Squirrel

We decided to place this cache after my nanna's funeral. Although she wasn't a geocacher she loved hearing about the adventures Bek-the raccoon and I had been on while caching. My grandparents and my dad and his brothers and sisters once lived at this property. The big pine tree you can see from the cache was once home to an elaborate series of cubbyhouses while a trench dug by my dad and his brothers linked the tree to an underground water tank they turned into a bunker. My nanna was always worried that they would fall out of the tree or get buried but this never happened. A few years later the family then moved to another property nearby. Please feel free to read the plaque for some interesting local history. You are looking for a small Sistema container.
