Thousand Islands Ground Search and Rescue is a team of dedicated volunteers who train and prepare to assist the OPP and local authorities in the search of
the lost or missing persons and bring them to safety.
In addition to aiding in searches, Thousand Islands Ground Search and
Rescue is actively engaged in the community by educating youth and adults on
critical outdoor skills including what to do if they become lost and
paddle safety
