Nous conclurons ce weekend de géologie par un CITO. 

LIEU :  La carrière des Plombs et des Peupliers d'Escaudain et d'Abscon.

Cache in Trash Out Event (CITO) est une initiative environnementale soutenue par la communauté geocaching. Le principal objectif de ce programme est de nettoyer et de préserver les zones naturelles que nous traversons lorsque nous faisons du geocaching.

Un CITO est donc un rassemblement de géocacheurs qui participent à un ramassage de déchets dans une zone donnée.
L’idée est d’inciter les randonneurs à faire une petite action, soit à chaque fois qu’ils partent à la recherche de caches, soit lors d’évènements particuliers. Un CITO peut servir aussi parfois à débarrasser la nature d’espèces envahissantes.


Ce CITO aura lieu le 30 Août 2015 à partir de 9h sur les carrières des Plombs et des Peupliers des communes d'Escaudain et d'Abscon.

L'accueil se fera sur le parking indiqué à partir de 9h.
Nous fournirons les sacs poubelles, pensez juste à prendre vos gants.
Le ramassage commencera à partir de 9h30 et se terminera à 12h.

Pour ceux le souhaitant, le CITO peut se terminer par un pique-nique sorti du sac.

Cache In Trash Out (CITO) is the environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. 
The main aim of this program is to clean up and preserve the natural areas that we enjoy while geocaching.

These events are larger gatherings of geocachers that focus on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, planting trees and vegetation and trail building.


This CITO event will be held the August 30th 2015 from 9h to 12h at the quarries of Plombs and Peupliers on the towns of Escaudain and Abscon.

We will welcome you at the car park location from 9h.
We will give the trash bags, just think to take your gloves.
The rubbish collection will begin at 9h30 till 12h. 

For those who want, the CITO event could end up by a picnic brought out from your bag.
