Geocache Description:

Kentwell Park is a quiet, tree-lined reserve in the sleepy suburb of Stanhope Gardens. With a small, open grassy area to the east and children's playground in the north-west corner, the park caters for families living in the area.

Kentwell Park Trees

The park is named after John Kentwell, the fourth son of William Kentwell who migrated to Australia from England on the 3rd Fleet. Granted 60 acres of land in 1823 at the young age of 16, John was the original owner of the heritage cottage still standing at 244 Old Northern Road, Castle Hill. John Kentwell died at the age of 93, a well respected and model citizen of Castle Hill.

Kentwell Park Playground

Stealth may be required when searching for this cache since GZ is in full view of neighbouring houses. The cache is a discretely hidden small black bison tube. Please bring your own writing implement to sign the log.
