Wayne Wallace Bell
Feb. 11, 1915 ~ Sept. 10, 1919
Wayne was a friendly 4-year-old who had walked with his kind neighbor and a friend to Brunt Grocery Store.
The boys got excited when they saw a delivery truck sitting in front of the grocery store! They wanted to climb on it while their neighbor did her shopping! The delivery man soon was ready to leave and told the boys to get away from his truck so he could drive away. They ran to the back of the truck, wanting to jump on for a ride........and the delivery man's truck, not knowing they were behind his truck, hit Wayne's small body.
Rest in peace, Wayne!
