Geocache Description:

A pub dinner to celebrate 2500 finds for RideTheGeoWalrus!

19th of July at the Coopers Alehouse from 6:30pm onwards with a finish time of around 8:30pm.

A little over three years ago, RideTheGeoWalrus saw a friend post on facebook about a quirky activity he wanted to try. There was much discussion about get togethers to do so, but on the 27th of February 2012 RideTheGeoWalrus got sick of waiting and went on his first solo caching adventure... around the corner to find Anyone for Tennis? by alex! From this little seed, bigger things grew.

Several fellow cachers have commented about my lack of celebration events, knowing I started planning for my 1000th and 2000th find, but these never eventuated, so I'm hosting for my 2500th find to make up for it. There might even be a return performance if I ever get to 5000!

Come along for an evening meal at the Coopers Alehouse (on the corner of Pulteney and Carrington) from 6:30pm, you can check out the pub's website if you want to peruse the menu options beforehand. Please note how many people will be attending in your logs. I have booked for 30 people at this stage but there is room to increase that should it prove necessary.

Hope to see you all there!
