Loughborough University is well known for sport, and the Loughborough University Stadium was opened in 2012. It is home to Loughborough University FC and can accommodate crowds of up to 3500. The stadium is surrounded by other sporting facilities including the Holywell pitches, beach park (volley ball, ultimate frisbee etc) and the band new, state-of-the-art Holywell Fitness Centre. Many of these facilities are available for public use.
The cache is easily accessible and is adjacent to a newly surfaced footpath/cycle path.
Parking is readily available on campus, especially out of term time or working hours, but you will need to pass through the security gatehouse and say that you are visiting the University Staduim. If you park in the Holywell Park car park, you will have easy access to a number of other nearby caches.
