Geocache Description:

The tiny stone church, a nave surmounted by a wooden belfry, stands on high ground in Hannah, by the side of the Alfrod to Sutton on Sea road about 41/2 miles fron Alford.  The church is always open so please go in and have a look.

This cache is a micro, but it is not inside the church or it's grounds. There is a small parking area outside the church, but it is on a S bend so watch out for traffic, as this can be a busy road. You may need tweezers, and please replace where you found it.

There has been a new fence put up, it is the road side of the fence.

The church was built in 1753 and is described as having "a plain stone exterior and simple but elegant interior. The three decker pulpit with tester, the box pews, with a small marble font in the corner of one of the pew boxes. The Creed with the Lord's Prayer and the Ten Commandments on either side of the alter, together with the chandeliers, certainly give this impression.

" If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at .. churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stat & information page found via the Bookmark list. "
