Geocache Description:

The first cache in my new series Lessons In History. Please read the passage if you have time to learn about the California Gold Rush. I didn't have a gold tube, so your looking for another precious metal color. 

 


Passage:

The california gold rush was a big event back in the mid 1800s. Miners called forty niners came across sea and land to get their piece of the action. Cities in the west thrived during the gold rush. Some of the people coming through the towns on their way to california stopped and decided not to go on.
