Officially known as Gore Cemetery, this small cemetery was created in 1834 and sits on a 1-acre parcel of land donated by Solomon Scheneck. Inside, and on the walls of the enclosure, you can find tombstones dating to around the time of the founding of the village of London in 1826. Some noteable names include William Hale and the Stevensons for whom nearby streets are named. The last burial was in 1954. The site is now maintained by the City of London.
As with all cemetery caches, please be respectful of the site and do not visit at night. Entry is by the gate on Trafalgar Street.
