Geocache Description:

North Dakota Peace Officer Memorial

Take a few minutes to see the names of the North Dakota officers that died in the line of duty. If you have time I would only suggest you visit the ND Heritage Center located just south of this memorial. If you visit the Heritage Center you can also see the a bio of each officer on this wall.

This memorial was the vision of ND Bureau of Criminal Investigation Special Agent Milt Lennick (ret). S/A Lennick worked with all ND law enforcement to make this memorial a reality. S/A Lennick passed away in February, 2015.

An annual service is held each May during National Law Enforcement Memorial week. This service is open to the public. You can also visit www.nleomf.com for more information on fallen officers.
