Geocache Description:

Demizu River is a tributary of the Kurome River.
Headwaters of Demizu River has been a depression of nearby Hagiyama Station of Seibu Haijima Line.
However, we will be able to see the river in the downstream from Shin-Ome Kaido.
Demizu River will join in the vicinity of the Heisei Bridge and Kurome River.


Origin of the Demizu river is said to be "the amount of water of about overflowing with normal rain."
However, the river dried up, because it does not follow the water more than a year, does not increase age, it is also is called Toshitorazu River.

Demizu Bridge, is in the tens of meters downstream from the Shin-Ome Kaido, is the first bridge.
You can slightly see the water of the river.

出水川(でみずがわ)西武拝島線の萩山駅付近を源流とする川です。
出水川は黒目川の支流で、平成橋付近で黒目川と合流します。
現在では新青梅街道の交差地点から下流しか残っていません。

出水川の由来は「雨が降ると溢れるほどの水量となる」といわれます。
また「川の水が翌年まで持ち越さないでその年中に渇水となる」ことから不老川(としとらずがわ)という別名もあるそうです。

出水川の出水橋は、新青梅街道から数十メートル下流にある、最初の橋です。
わずかに川の水を見ることができます。

キャッシュは出水橋に設置しました。
