This is my first geocache. I thought that there weren't many caches in the area and that this would be a fun addition. Eyemouth is a lovely seaside town with an interesting past connected to Borders history, smuggling, and fishing. And, books being my stock in trade, it felt natural to include the local public library!
The coordinates for this cache lead to a point just outside Eyemouth Library. You are looking for a small camouflaged nano. The real prize though is the logbook which is just inside the library itself. Finding the nano will provide a clue to finding the logbook inside.
THE NANO IS CURRENTLY MISSING, BUT WOULD USUALLY CONTAIN THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: "ON SHELF AT 623.892."
The challenge is that to access the logbook you will need to enter the library during visiting hours and use the clue to locate the log. Also watch out for muggles, both inside the library and outside - especially on sunny days! Here are the library's opening hours:
