Train Spotting Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Molemon: Checked on this one today to find a throw down left at GZ, despite the cache still being in place.

This cache was our first hide and was never really that good, so cache and throw down have both been removed to make way for one that's being built to be placed soon.

Geocache Description:

Lakeside Country Park features 22 hectares of lakes, woodlands and wet meadows, situated between Southampton and Eastleigh. The restored gravel works are great for walking, picnicing, taking the GeoDog out, fishing, or visiting the steam railway that operates around the site. The Railway opens every weekend throughout the year and daily mid July to mid September plus all school holiday 10.00am - 4.30pm (4pm during the winter).

A concealed nano just off from the path. A log removal tool will be required. Speed and stealth required to avoid muggles, but a trained eye should be able to spot it!

Due to the height that the cache is placed at, unfortunately not wheelchair accessible, however there is a RADAR key toilet on site. Buggies and cyclists welcome and will be able to access the path near to GZ. There are steps nearby however GZ can be accessed from another direction on the flat.
