Geocache Description:

Cache is a sandwich-sized Lock n Lock container.

Ducks can generally be divided into two broad categories: the dabbling ducks and the diving ducks.

Dabbling ducks are typically birds of fresh, shallow marshes and rivers rather than of large lakes and bays.  They are good divers, but usually feed by dabbling or tipping rather than submerging.

Species of dabbling ducks commonly seen at Oak Hammock Marsh include:

  • Mallard
  • Pintail
  • Gadwall
  • Wigeon
  • Shoveler
  • Blue-Winged Teal
  • Green-Winged Teal
  • Wood Duck
