The Calala Lane ends at the roundabout and the back Kootingal Road continues on to the villages of Kootingal and Moonbi. This is quite a picturesque drive but beware of kangaroos in the early morning or late afternoon.

The sheep on either sde of the road are Dorpers. They don't grow wool but are excelent eating.
