So, I've been caching a while now and often thought I'd like to start placing a few of my own caches. Never quite knowing where, when or why.. So today is the day, a tribute...

A Mum, Dad, Son and Daughter combo caching in the outer SE suburbs of Melbourne on any given day (or night).
Mum is totally addicted to geo-caching and has spent an insane amount of time researching hides, finds and locations (secretly, I think she dreams of caching too).
Dad thinks Mum's nuts, but goes along with her insane ideas (like rowing and inflatable boat across a lake to place a cache) to keep the peace :)
Son is a great little cacher. Never afraid of a hike or getting his hands dirty.
Daughter well.... Somedays she is my friend, other days she cant wait to drop me back at my car!
Today marks a special day for the TeamThommo clan. 365 days from the day they found their first ever cache. Knowing Mum Thommo, she will have a pretty special cache planned for her 700th Milestone and I'm betting it will be around the time of her cache-aversary (I totally made that up!).
A trip to Pakenham isn't complete without finding a TeamThommo cache. To date they have 681 finds and 75 hides, mammoth effort for only 1 year!
