The Heebee Jeebee's Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

FIRESIDE796: The flooding here was too severe and the repairs to the culvert left the tunnels still partially collapsed. Unfortunately it’s time to archive this one. Thanks to all who have visited over the years.

Geocache Description:

Urban dictionary defines the heebee jeebee's as... "A feeling of minor fright, anxiety, nervousness, apprehension, "the willies", phobic". "That spider crawling on my neck gave me the heebie jeebies". <p>

To obtain this cache you must overcome this feeling of apprehension and continue on. For some this will be no problem. For others this cache will be impossible>

TO FIND THIS CACHE:

Enter one of the tunnels from the posted coordinates. (You'll have to decide for yourself which one). Carefully make your way over the cobblestone floor, past blood thirsty spiders, beware of snakes hidden in the stone walls. Continue on to an area where flowstone is beginning to form on the sides of the cave walls. At certain times of the year, this tunnel may have water flowing through it. However, I believe the cache should remain accessible in all but the most extreme circumstances.

WARNING:

I'm serious, if you're afraid of spiders, snakes, tight places, then this cache is not for you. If you do decide to venture forth in search of this cache, then take heed that you may be bitten by spiders, you may be startled by snakes, you may hit your head or scrape your knee. If none of this deters you, then carefully proceed. But beware of... "The Heebee Jeebee's"!

Things to bring:

A FLASHLIGHT

RUBBER BOOTS

A HAT

WALKING STICK

YOUR PERSONAL STAMP

This cache is a "letter box" so there's no trade items in the box. What you will find is a logbook, a pen, a stamp that I made for this cache and a pack of markers so that you can draw a little picture if you don't have a stamp of your own.
