Jolly 'OllyDays Traditional Cache

Welcome to the Freeman's Meadow.  A short walk from the main town meadows brings you to a peaceful spot to think about life, while watching the river flow by (and the stream of dog walkers who enjoy a stroll here!)

This cache was placed in memory of our nephew and cousin Oliver.  Oliver died, aged 2, in 2012.  We have chosen this special spot as Oliver would, on his 18th birthday, have become a Freeman of Stamford. 

The site of this cache is close to an amazing memorial bench crafted by Olly's Dad.

On placing this cache, we set travelling a trackable Thomas the Tank Engine, one of Olly's favourite TV characters.  We hope thath through the trackable, Oliver's memory will travel on journeys that he won't have the chance to.
