The site for this geocache is a memorial park located on a hill overlooking the East Beach in Port Burwell. From here, you get a fantastic view of Lake Erie and the beach below. The neighbours to the park on the east side are shaping their hedge line to look like the HMCS Ojibwa down by the harbour.
During the summer while there are thunderstorms over the lake, I like to come here and watch the lightning and on some days, potential waterspout activity. The geocache itself is on the very edge of the park near the end of the road and seasoned geocachers will know what they’re looking for when it comes to geocaches of this nature. Enjoy the view!
