World Wide Flash Mob is an international event when people all over the world meet up at exactly the same time and do something a bit mad for a few minutes before blending back into the background.
The idea is to turn up before 6.00pm, and do your own thing in the park. You could walk the dog, or have a picnic, or play on the swings, or sunbathe - use your imagination! Then at 6.00pm precisely a whistle will blow and we will all gather at the published coordinates, to the side of the pavilion. We'll split into two teams, batters and fielders, find our space and have a massive game of rounders! At 6.20 we will stop for a group photo, sign the log book, swap trackables and cake and then disperse at 6.30.
Free parking is available at the parking waypoint on the cache page, though please bear in mind there may be other park users there so please park considerately. My fingers will be crossed for warm weather on the day, though please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately on the day. The event will still go ahead even if it's raining!
Rounders is for everyone, children and adults alike, and you don't have to be super fit to have a good time. If you have a preference for batting or fielding, please say so in your Will Attend log.
