1st Repton Scouts Multi Cache Challenge Multi-Cache

Placed as a multi cache challenge for the 1st Repton Scouts as part of the badge work towards their Geocaching badge.

The listed co-ordinates are for St Wystan's Church. The cache is not here, but is a short walk away. Here you will find the information for the first stage. You will need to bring your own pen to sign the cache.

Parking is also available here but please park considerately.
 

This multi requires you to visit 4 stages around the village of Repton. At each stage you will gather information to help you work out the actual cache coordinates.

Stage One - The information needed is on the churchyard side of the lych gates. The lych gate is dedicated to the memory of Rev'd A F E Forman  who was a master at Repton School for 30years. 

A = the third number of the birth year.

B= the last number of the birth year.

C= the third numer of the year he died

D= take the first number from the last number of the year he died

Stage Two - A blue plaque dedicated to Basil Rathbone who was famous for portraying Sherlock Holmes in film. He attended Repton School in the early 1900s.

E= the first and last number of his birth year added together.

F= the first and last number of the year he died added together.

Stage Three -

G= take 4 away from the last number of the year the butchers shop was established.

Stage Four - The Roost

Look at the date of the cottages at the listed coords called 'The Roost'

H = take the first two numbers of the date and add them together.

You should now have the required information to fill in the missing numbers. The cache is a short pleasant walk away.
