The cache is located in a very scenic spot along the Marietta Riverfront Bike Trail . You will be able to see The Valley Gem paddle wheel, The W.P. Snyder, Jr. paddlewheel towboat, poles showing the heights of historic Marietta floods, and an old wooden flatboat. The spot is one of my favorites, and I visit it often during our walks on the trail.
Because of the carp that return near this spot every year, there is a "No Fishing" sign posted a few yards from the cache. To sign the log for this one, you will have to do some fishin', just not in the water. The cache is a micro bison tube. There is only room for a log and a couple of small items, so bring your own writing implement.
