It's interesting to think about this property before it became a public park. It was a home... families lived here... and there were children! Children that entertained themselves... with these woods as their playground. They played hide and seek... walked the trails to school... and left notes for friends at the beautiful old oak tree that you will pass on your way to the cache! On past the cache (if the trail isn't flooded) there are rails that were once a bridge to cross the ravine. It's a beautiful place... with stories to tell!!!
(I have left a few trinkets at the tree myself... and they are gone the next time I visit! Must be wood sprites in the area! :)
We hope that you'll enjoy this park and visit Green Spring Park on down the rail trail to the east also!
Please close the container carefully... cover it will FL camo... and considering picking up any trash that you might find in the area. The park belongs to all of us! Oh... and look up as you enter the trail to the cache. The canopy of the woods is covered with beautiful orange flowered vines!
Congratulations to xrayrepairdude for being the First To Find!!!
