Micro cache, BYOP, stealth required, P&G
Just another cache named after another 1970's song that I've always liked! I was waiting for the 'perfect host' for this hide and this one kind of hit the mark-if you check out the host closely, you will see what I mean. I've always been a fan of Gerry Rafferty's music so it makes sense that I would like this song by Stealers Wheel, in which he provided the lead vocals. This song was released on Stealers Wheel's 1972 self-titled debut album. The song was conceived initially by band members Rafferty and Joe Egan as a parody of Bob Dylan's distinctive lyrical style and paranoia. The band was surprised by the single's success-it sold over one million copies and peaked in 1973 at #6 in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. (source:Wikipedia)
It's a fun song.....check it out on YouTube! In the meantime...here's a sampling of the lyrics.... "Well I don't know why I came here tonight I got a feeling that something ain't right, I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair, And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs, Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you..."
