Handling
Det är midsommarkväll på Öhn vid Ströms Vattudal i norra Jämtland. På en veranda sitter fadern och modern och dricker kaffe, och inne i huset sover yngsta dottern Camilla. Så smyger den ensamme Dunderklumpen in i Camillas sovrum och väcker hennes dockor till liv, och beger sig av med dem. Camillas storebror Jens och fadern Beppe följer efter Dunderklumpen genom midsommarnatten för att åter få tag i leksakerna, och när de hinner ikapp Dunderklumpen får de vara med om en magisk midsommarnatt med många äventyr
Filmen har hämtat inspiration från det jämtländska landskapet.

The movie is for the most part animated, and is as such counted as Sweden's first animated full length movie.
Plot
It's midsummer eve on Öhn by Ströms Vattudal in northen Jämtland. On a porch the father and mother are sitting having some coffee, and in the house the youngest daughter Camilla is sleeping. Then the lonely Dunderklumpen sneaks into Camilla's bedroom and brings her dolls to life, and leaves with them. Camilla's big brother Jens and her father Beppe follows Dunderklumpen through the midsummer night to return her toys, and as they finally catch up with Dunderklumpen they get to experience a magical midsummer night with lots of adventures.
The movie has gathered inspiration from the beautiful landscapes in Jämtland.
