Das ”Brettldorf” – so wird der Mobilheimplatz von den Podersdorfern genannt - gibt es seit rund 30 Jahren.
Es handelt sich zwar um Mobilheime – größere Wohnwägen auf Rädern – die aber großteils mit Holz – Brettern - verkleidet sind. Diese Holzhäuser sind Eigentum der Mieter und stehen auf einem Pachtgrund der Gemeinde Podersdorf, der an den Campingplatz anschließt.
Man findet hier 300 Parzellen mit einer Größe von 100 – 140m².
In der schönen Jahreszeit – Ferien – herrscht hier reges Treiben. Ein Erholungsparadies für Familien, Seglern und Pensionisten die in Podersdorf eine 2. Heimat gefunden haben unter dem Motto „raus aus der Großstadt“.
Kinder verbringen hier ihre Ferien bei den Großeltern „am See“.
Der direkte Seezugang – kein Schilfgürtel – ermöglicht es viele Wassersportarten vor der Haustür auszuüben.
Das „Brettldorf“ ist ganzjährig bewohnbar, mit Einschränkungen im Winter.
Angeschlossen ist der „Hafen Süd“ der für ca. 200 Schiffe Platz bietet.
Zum Cache;
Der Cache ist außerhalb des Mobilheimplatzes versteckt.
Leicht zu finden - leicht zu heben. Gut erreichbar mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß auch mit dem Auto - ein "Drive In". Um den Cache zu finden musst du die Straße nicht verlassen. Vorsicht mit Kindern! Es ist zwar eine Nebenstraße aber trotzdem fahren dort Autos, Fahrräder, Pferdekutschen und Traktoren.

This caravan site is called „Brettldorf” by the inhabitants of Podersdorf and it exists since 30 years.
These caravans are mostly claded with wood – boards.
They are property of the tenant and located on a leased property ground of the township of Podersdorf.
There are 300 allotments in the size of 100-140m².
During the warm season you’ll find a lot of activity there. It is a recriation area for retirees and families who found their second home in the countryside away from the metropolis. Kids are spending the holidays with their grandparents there, at the big lake.
These caravans are habitable througout the year with some limitations in winter.
Connected to this caravan site is the “harbour south” with anchorages for 200 boats.

It is located outside the “Brettldorf”. Please be carefull with it.
Easy to find. You reach it with the bycicle, walking, or your cachemobil It’s a drive in.
In order to find the cache you don’t have to leave the road. Mind your children! Although it is not the main road, there is still some trafic. Cars, bycicles, horse carriages and tractors.
