This Location is a special one for us as the 'special oak tree' you need to look for was planted 24 years ago in memory of my Nana & Grandpa, they loved this area and got engaged not far from here. We've come here many times a year with family and loved ones since it has been planted so holds lots of special memories. Due to the forest commission rules we are unfortunately able to maintain the tree. It's in their hands. My aunt once placed a planter there many years ago with a few daffodils in, which is still there but got a bit of a telling off! So we've left it be ever since. Such a shame but still precious to us, none the less. As I said, it's a 'Special oak tree' you need to look for, just follow the small path along the stream and you will find it! We have placed our own trackable inside and a small token for the first to find! This cache is on Forestry Commission land and has been placed in accordance with the GAGB - Forestry Commission Agreement. As part of this Agreement, it is not permitted to seek the cache during the hours of darkness”
