A traditional cache placed within the grounds of an old Georgian farmstead which has now been converted into a whisky distillery, the only one in the East Neuk of Fife, an area which had been brimming with distilleries up until the 18th Century. Part of the architecture of the original building looks like a fortified tower but was in fact a "doocot" housing pigeons which supplied the table of the Laird of nearby Cambo House with meat and eggs.
Kingsbarns beach which is also nearby is one of the nicest beaches in the East Neuk of Fife and one of our favourite places to walk the East Fife coastal path.
The cache has been placed with kind permission of the landowners
