WWFM XII – Disc golf CITO
Mahaney Recreation Area recently opened a 9 hole disc golf course and we’ve decided to have this years WWFM XII as a way to give back to those who made it possible by walking the course and collecting any trash we might find. There’s not that much to be honest so bring a few discs and play a round of disc golf with us!
Event will be from 5-5:30 as WWFM requirements are 30 minutes for the flash mob. During this time we’ll just scout the area and pick up any trash we might find. After the 30 minutes is up we invite you to stay for a relaxing game of disc golf. The course takes roughly 1 hour to play 9 holes so come on out and have some fun. NOTE - discs are NOT PROVIDED. You must bring your own disc and are responsible for it if lost. Hope to see everyone there!
Schedule will be as follows:
5PM - Air horn blast signaling the event start
5:05 - 5: 25PM Casually walk around the area and pick up any trash you might come across
5:25 - 5:30 Meet back at GZ for event final.
As with all flash mobs you'll be asked to present an index card with your caching name on it as proof you were there. I'll also have an official log to sign so please remember to do so!! I've ordered a 20 pack of WWFM pathtags so if you're into pathtags and attend the event you'll receive one. Hope to see every one there!
