Geocache Description:

...also known as Cockerham Sands CITO

=======================================================================================

You won’t find the cache at the published coordinates but you can leave your car there. If you come by bike I would recommend taking it with you to GZ, you may want to carry it over the occasional puddle or broken glass on the path though.

Mr Hotdog was just out for a little stroll when he found this massive rock at the beach. Or was it a giant fish washed ashore? Always up for a little adventure he decided to climb on top of the mysterious object. After a fair bit of sliding backwards and one time almost falling off on his head first he eventually managed to reach the top and look how chuffed he was with himself!

That was the moment when it dawned on him that he was actually standing on a bag full of rubbish left by people close or possibly far from this beach and now collected by someone as part of a 5 min Beach Clean initiative. Quite a good idea, he thought! So whenever he goes to the beach now he collects some of the rubbish he finds, keeps a rubbish selfie for the record, and takes the rubbish to a public bin or to his own bin at home. Quite a good idea, don’t you think?

=======================================================================================

It also made Mr Hotdog think a bit more about the rubbish he produces himself and he wants to get things right from now on.

Help Mr Hotdog to take his waste where it belongs! Can he put it into his Recycling boxes at home? Or should he take it to a collection point for Hazardous Waste where some of it may be recycled? Or should it go into his General Waste bin (some are a bit posher and call this “residual” waste)?

Sort his waste into these three categories first. If unsure visit this website for more information on general and recyclable waste collected from home and this one to learn more about the different kinds of hazardous waste.

Now walk the winding paths with Mr Hotdog, taking each of the three different types of rubbish to the right place. On each of the paths you will find letters – the letters will spell out an important message, enter this message into Certitude to reveal the cache co-ordinates.

=======================================================================================

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Also follow Mr Hotdog’s example and collect some rubbish you find lying around! Be careful and avoid collecting sharp items like broken glass. If you remember bring and reuse a shopping bag to collect “your” rubbish. If you forgot about a bag there may be one in the cache (you can also leave a shopping bag in the outer container if no bin bags are left). Take the rubbish home or to a public bin, don’t forget to keep a rubbish selfie too and share it here if you like!

There's the possibility of muggles occasionally developing some interest in Mr Hotdog's cache, so please log a DNF or contact the CO if you found nothing but waste at the final coordinates.

Have fun with this rubbish!
