Keno City is a historic mining town that is well worth a visit. Though most of the mining activity in the area has ended and the town now has only a few year-round residents, there is much to see and enjoy here, including the mining museum, the snack bar across the street, the many reminders of the area's mining boom times, and most of all, the natural beauty of this part of the Yukon Territory.
The cache is located on the premises of the Keno City Mining Museum, and was placed with the permission of the museum's administrator. Though you are strongly encouraged to tour the museum when you visit Keno City (there is a modest entry fee), it is not necessary to enter the building to access the cache, so it can be found outside the museum's normal operating hours (10:00am to 6:00pm, late May to early September). Check the hint if you need any assistance finding it.
When placed, the cache contained a logbook, a few small trade items, and one of our own travel bugs that will start its journeys here. Please ensure that you replace the cache in the same location that you found it.
