Dickman's Glen Traditional Cache

Best (and safest) done in a clockwise direction, this series in the Windfarm has been placed with kind permisson from the Whitelee Ranger Service. The circuit is very boggy/wet in places, so wellies or other boots are a must, as is a pen or pencil to sign the logs. Waypoints are provided on the first cache (Summer House) and then on caches where they are directly relevant. Felling is due at some point between 2016 and 2020, but please enjoy the caches until then at least.

Not really a superhero and we have no idea who the Dickman was that had this glen named after him. It's a cracking spot and name. There is a nice quad track along the West side of the glen but, of course, we are taking you off that beaten track so that life isn't quite so easy.

Our GPS died whilst setting the last three caches in this series (this one, Dickman's Dribble and Carrot and Coriander), so the coords are averaged on our phone using a hastily downloaded app. They may not be perfect but, to make up for that, we have given very specific clues. We are happy to accept updated coords provided they have been averaged on a GPS over at least five minutes. Hopefully that will mean that not too many suggestions come in .
