Valemount history tour 12, Kinney cabin two is about a further 2.5 km along the trail at the far end of the lake, so if you have come this far you may as well carry on and get the other one !!
First cabin at Kinney Lake
The geocache is actually located approximately 200 yards past the site of the cabin due to an existing geocache.
As far as we know a man from Switzerland built this cabin near the outflow from Kinney lake in the early 1900's. He planned to build a hotel but he left and never returned.
