Geocache Description:

A series of caches commemorating the 343 firefighters that passed on September 11th, 2001. This is going to be a series where one cache is dedicated to every firefighter that fell that day. With each cache, a biography of the firefighter who gave his last act of valor will be placed in the summary. Please take the time to look through some of these biographies.

Arthur had an irrepressible zest for life‚ never content to idle away his time. He enjoyed competitive swimming‚ cooking‚ blacksmithing‚ traveling‚ brewing ‘Arties Ale‚’ and most of all fabricating parts for heavy duty machines in his complete machine shop. He took many trips to every corner of our nation. In the year 2000 he rode his Harley-Davidson motorcycle 10‚000 miles to Alaska. He was in his 9th year with the FDNY and recently completed chauffer training to drive Ladder 15.

Arthur was on vacation when he responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11/01. Arthur is survived by his parents Audriene & Bertrand F. (Retired FDNY); sisters Patricia‚ Kathleen and Claire; and brother Bertrand A.
