SoHa or South Harlem is home to a number of parks and historic architecture. One block west you can stroll along the cliffs of Morningside Park which dates from the 1800s and came into existence because it would have been too costly to extend the streets through this rugged area. One block east at 118th and Saint Nicholas Avenue, you can marvel at the neo-Gothic architecture of the St. Thomas the Apostle Church designed by Henry Poole and built from 1889 to 1907. The Preservation League of New York named the church as one of its "Seven to Save" which highlights endangered historic places.
Aliza&Eliana are twins so when you find a Siamese connection, you'll know you're close. THERE IS NO NEED TO CROSS THE FENCE!! This cache is accessible from the public sidewalk! Do not cross onto private property. Do not climb or unearth or otherwise leave the sidewalk!
Special thanks to SRHunters and the now archived Cache of Caches Reborn where we picked up this ready-made cache in Sonoma, CA in 2013. Took us awhile to find just the right spot to place it. We've added a few trinkets for the First To Find to choose from!
Congratulations to FTF NYWanderer and honorable mention to PickleWoods! Fun to have our first cache found!
