Dopo il Forte Montecchio Nord, proseguendo lungo il Sentiero dei Forti si giunge al piccolo nucleo di Monteggiolo che, insieme ad Erbiola, è il luogo dove si stabilirono i primi abitanti di Colico.
Da Monteggiolo ad Erbiola il percorso può essere fatto anche con una mountain bike, facendo molta attenzione ai pedoni in quanto il sentiero è stretto.
After the Fort Montecchio Nord, continuing along the Path of the Forts (Sentiero dei Forti), you can reach the small group of houses called Monteggiolo that, along with Erbiola, is the place where the first inhabitants of Colico settled.
You can use a mountain bike on the path from Monteggiolo to Erbiola, but pay a lot of attention to pedestrians because it's a narrow way.
