Newent Nano's #1 - Gateway to the Trees Traditional Cache

Newent Nano's

A series of nano caches around the town of Newent.  As well as picking up these nano caches their are also other caches along the route which you can get.  Plans are afoot to expand this series with some more traditional caches on the way.

This first cache starts you at Newent Arboretum.  This inspired project to populate one of Newents largest open spaces with over 1000 trees was undertaken by the towns millenium trust.  Take a picnic and enjoy the peace !  Geodogs are also welcome in this large enclosed space infact you may meet the co or the co's wife with a mad pointy faced mutt !  Limited parking is available at GZ.

Once you have this cache in hand the next cache is a bit of a walk away but geodogs will enjoy !  Point your GPS at http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC5Q1WT_over-the-fields-but-not-so-far-away pick this one up if you haven't already done so.  Then turn left and follow the road up.  As you walk to the next cache enjoy the old coaching route with the high sided banks Newent has a few of them
