Best Parking Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GrandpaGene: Best Parking has now been muggled twice. The cover is gone but the trash has increased. There are other locations in this area that might well be better - so look for a new cache in the same general area. Thanks to all who searched.

Geocache Description:

About as close to a park and grab as is possible.  You do have to get out of your geomobile.

Strangers to the Penninsula must wonder about the massive empty parking lot on the corner of Coliseum Drive and Pine Chapel Road.  Driving into it a sharp cacher can detect the footprint of the large discount store named Best Products which used to stand here.  It eventually closed and was razed and this is what is left.  Cachers can park very close to the cache itself and have some protection from muggles.   Cache itself is a large concealed pill bottle with a few pieces of swag. BYOP. Co-ordinates were taken from multiple readings of a Garmin E-Trex with northing numbers being either 384 or 385 and westing ranging from 117 to 120.   Because of some difficulties, I have followed the example of Best Products and downsized the cache. It is still a camoed pill container, but it is smaller with a different camo pattern. Good luck and please return the cache to where you found it.

I have also added a hint. The loss of tree cover now makes the cacher very obvious, but at a distance for the most part. I thought all the Paul Bunyan activity would make this one easy peasy, but I guess I'm wrong. I'm shooting the difficulty up to 2 - maybe that will lead to some more careful searching. A big congratulations to my old caching friends, the Treasure Trovers for an early morning FTF. I don't often congratulate STF, but Fishgeek walked on his tail fins all the way from Richmond to find this prize. Well done.
