This one is a bit of a walk but well worth it to find such a lovely spot at the end. Always a favourite place with cafsmith and her children (L_saurus). You will inevitably encounter curious cows but the cache is now close to the gate if cows aren't your thing! Can be approached from North end of Penrith, Catterlen or Newton Close (parking not possible at the latter). Would recommend it for a picnic spot.
Afterwards we use go to Newton Reigny and drink at the Sun Inn.
