UPDATE 01/06/2018: Unfortunately, stage two of this cache was stolen. I'm glad that so many people enjoyed our first cache. We may replace this one at a later date but for now, she's gone.
We are really excited to place our first cache!
A lot has changed in this area over the years. I remember a quieter time before the population in this area exploded. Now there are subdivisions where sprawling oaks and palm frond use to sway in the wind. Ahhh the good ol days
Rumor has it that this area will soon be developed so enjoy these old oaks (and this cache) while they're still around. You can also continue on past cache #2 for a nice little walk in the woods. Trails throughout provide a nice view of Florida's inland habitat. UPDATE: 1-23-16 / If you walk beyond where cache #2 is placed, you will see that development has started. I have a feeling this cache won't be here much longer. Enjoy while you can!
Inside this cache you will find many little treasures. Some of the items are quite delicate/breakable so be gentle. Please take only one!
FTF should be looking for Mr.Jefferson as their reward!
Directions:
1. Locate the first cache. Write down the coordinates and padlock code.
2. Locate the second cache and use code to unlock and open the box.
3. Take something from the swag bag. If you take an item, try to leave something equally as interesting as what you took.
4. Log your trek in the log book and feel free to snap a pic with the disposable camera that is enclosed (it will be developed and posted in this thread later).
5. Replace everything carefully back inside the box. Close and lock the box then place it back in its proper location for the next hunter.
If you enjoyed this cache let us know and please share pics! Have fun and don't forget the bug repellant.
Notes: This is a multi-cache but cache #1 is located pretty close to the cache #2 so don't be intimidated. There is NO container at cache#1. Only coordinates for cache #2 and a padlock code.
