The Christadelphian Church in Peasedown St John is one of four Christian Churches. The church dates from 1876 however, this site became home to the church in 1915 after a number of house meetings as the founder actively spread the gospel and their knowledge of the Bible. By 1915 there was a congregation of about 40 members.
The original building, a 'hut' was brought from the Army on Salisbury Plain. In 1961 the church was able to 'upgrade' their building, demolishing the iron building and replacing it with a timber building. By 1966 the Sunday school had grown and a second building was put up to house it. The church was later extended further by adding a kitchen, toilets and room for an infant class.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first at churchmicro@gmail.com so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
There is also a Church Micro Stats & Information page found via the Bookmark list
