The cache is the first in a series of four leading you on a round trip walk of 12km called "St. Partick's Purgatory"
You can do the first 2km up a dirt trail by car (very carefully - the track is under repair) and that will cover three of the caches, but to get to the last you will have to walk.
There is parking at the pilgrimage centre, but check the closing times of the centre to ensure your car is not locked in (http://www.loughderg.org)
