Mapa en Relieve de Guatemala Traditional Cache

The map is a large relief of Guatemala (and Belize) where you can see volcanoes, lakes, rivers, shoreline etc. It is quite impressive, because the mountains are three times higher than they would be according to the actual scale. The cache is in a quiet corner of the adjacent park.

One of the (tourist) places worth to see in Guatemala City, the map was created by Ing. Francisco Vela and inaugurated in 1905. It is located in Zona 2, in the northern part of the city. The easiest way to get there is by taxi, everyone knows the place. Urban buses are not recommended in Guatemala City.

Once you are there, enter the gate, pay a small fee to the friendly guardian and you can walk around the map, climb the two watchtowers to get an overlook and then go for the cache in the park. It is located at the other end regarding the entrance and it should be fairly muggle-free.

Uno de las vistas (para turistas) que vale una visita en Guatemala Ciudad. La mapa fue construido por Ing. Francisco Vela en 1905. Está situada en la zona 2, adonde se dirige más facilmente en un taxi, porque los buses urbanos no se recomiendan.

Entra en la area, paga su entrada a los guardianes amigables y camina libremente entorno la mapa. También escala a las dos torres para ver toda la area. Después dirigense al fondo del parque y buscan la caché.
