Geocache Description:


A two stage multi.

The coordinates will take you to the XFV-1 "Salmon" experimental vertical takeoff aircraft, at Sun n Fun. What three digits are on the top of the plane? Use that three digit number to answer the two questions to obtain the final coordinates.

AAA = Subtract the three digit number on the plane by 340.

BBB = Subtract the three digit number on the plane by 122.

The Lockheed XFV-1 "Salmon" was an experimental tailsitter prototype aircraft built in the early 1950s to demonstrate the operation of a vertical takeoff and landing fighter for protecting convoys.

The single flying prototype is on display at the Florida Air Museum that is part of the Sun 'n Fun complex at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport
