From the trail up the mountain can be a climb. Near the bluffs a beautiful view and worth the walk. See Mowat Bay from a different view.
As you drive down to Mowat Bay you park in the parking lot. To your right is a playground farther down near the beach is a trail. Fallow the trail till you see SCT south sign, the second trail to the right. Turn left on an old road, then turn right at the duck signs, nearing the top of the trail to your left is an opening to the bluffs. Once you step out onto the bluffs to your left is some rocks stacked up into statues. Continue straight across the bluffs to the edge. (Not to close wouldn't want to fall off.) Once on the rocks near the edge looking down at the view of Mowat Bay. Turn to your left there is a burnt cut off tree beside that tree is a rock and below the rock you will find the geocache. I've also marked with a bright green poka doted ribbon in a branch above. Hope you enjoy the view.
